The Board of Education is a made up of Parents and other Congragation Members committed to providing the best possible Jewish Education for the Children of the Yorktown Jewish Center. The
Board of Education meets the first Monday of every month. All
parents
and Congregation Members are welcome and encouraged to attend. At
a typical meeting, we review upcoming Religious School events to ensure
that Students and Parents are fully prepared to make the event
successful.
We tackle specific Classroom, Policy and Curriculum concerns that are
brought
to our attention and finally we promote the participation of the
Parents
in the Jewish Education of their Children.
