By
contributing to the various funds of your choice, you are investing in
the mission of our synagogue to make religious, spiritual, educational
and social opportunities available to our community. Contributing to
further the goals of any synagogue has its roots in the ancient Temple,
for which King Solomon established a “Bedek habayit fund”. This fund
was used to beautify and maintain the Temple as a glorious House of
Worship. We thank you for helping to make YJC an appropriately
beautiful House of Worship, in so many ways. |

| Adult Education
Fund: Supports all of
the Orot Events, Lightning and Enlightening our Lives Chazan Fund: Provides for our Chazan so that we can enhance our religious services with song. HaGomel Fund: Kiddush Fund: Ensures a bountiful Kiddush each Shabbat on the weeks when the Kiddush is not sponsored for a special event. Landscaping Fund: Help beautify the outside of our newly renovated building. Prayerbook/Bible Fund: Ensures that our Prayerbooks/Bibles remain up to date and in good condition. Enables us to purchase new books when needed. Religious School Fund: Provide for special programs, unexpected expenses and keep our Religious School on top. Social Action Fund: Support the many charitable projects taken on by the Social Action Committee. Youth Group Fund: Supports the many activites for our youth involved in Kadima and USY. |
Building Fund: Supports improvements to our building,
unexpected repairs, etc... Chesed Fund: Provide support, loving-kindness and help to individuals and families of our synagogue, who are experiencing challenges of illness, personal tragedy, and aging. Hebrew High School Fund: Supports programs to encourage students to remain a part of the Jewish community and continue their formal Jewish education after their Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Library Fund: As the Library undergoes a restoration, this fund will ensure that the space is up to date and quality place for Jewish learning. Nursery School Fund: Supports our Nursery School to kep it a special place for families with young children and a feeder to help our membership grow. Sanctuary Fund: Supports inprovements to the Sanctuary, unexpected repairs, additional Yahrzeit boards etc... Torah Repair Fund: A Torah is a very expensive item. We treat them with care, but they are used all the time and occasionally need to be repaired. |
