Religious Affairs Information
The Religious Affairs committee is dedicated to ensure the rituals and services of the synagogue are meaningful.  We encourage our congregants to participate in ways that they are comfortable with, such as leading prayers or reciting the Torah and Haftorah portions.  Contact the Religious Affairs Vice President if you want to participate.

Religious Affairs also oversees the Shabbat Kiddushim, and we need volunteers to help buy the food, put the Kiddush out, and help clean up afterward.  Please call the office, if you would like to help.

Religious Affairs works with the choir, which is always seeking new members.  You can contact Sally Rosenbaum if you would like more information.

The Religious Affairs Vice Presidents are Sol Krongelb and Alan Alterbaum,.  The committee consists of Ken Allen, Bob Altabet, Bruce Apar, Elaine Boshnack, Arthur Jettelson, Isabelle Kopstein, Bernie Lipsy, Jackie Martins, Walter Seligsohn.  If you have any questions, you can reach Sol at (914) 962-7118, or Alan at (914) 962-4371.
